DezinaWorld's Cheeky Challenge Tuesday

Week Two: Wild Flowers

I missed the first week's theme of Cheeky Challenge and decided no matter what happened this week, no distractions, I had to  create something for the second week!  I found this painting by William Adolphe Bouguereau at Wikipedia Creative Commons and created this art piece !

I have participated in June McFarlane's art challenges in the past and loved the experience that I gained as I created art each week!  I was learning how to use PSE 8 but was not feeling very confident in what I was doing but as the weeks passed and with June's praise and support, I became more inspired to learn as much as I could about the techniques that go into creating digital art!  My inspiration also came from the digital art that so many talented artists were also creating each week. June's themes were original and interesting and as my skill grew, my love of all things digital began to grew!  As I would finish an art piece, I remember feeling that pure joy and great satisfaction that I felt years ago when studying art in school!

I was thrilled when I found June's new weekly challenge blog and  would encourage anyone who has an interest in digital art to participate! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced digital artist, I know you'll find June's weekly themes well worth your time to create something valuable...a art piece that you can be proud of that really speaks to your heart...nothing short of finding creative bliss!!!
